Thinakaran Lab - Cell Biology of Alzheimer's Disease

I am a rising senior majoring in Biomedical Sciences on the pre-medical track. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be a scientist. More specifically, in high school, I had my mind set on medicine after joining my school’s medical academy. My love for medicine has only grown as I was able to gain work experience as both a medical assistant and a phlebotomist. I joined the Thinakaran Lab with the intention of learning more about Alzheimer’s disease and improving my research abilities.
