Lucia Anton del Rio
Born: Barcelona, Spain
I am a junior majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology at USF. Ever since I was introduced to science, I have been fascinated by it, particularly molecular biology and chemistry. My ultimate goal is to go to graduate school and pursue a career in research. After conducting a literature review on the role of APOE in AD last year, I developed an interest in neuroscience and neurodegenerative diseases. By joining the Thinakaran Lab, I hope to expand my understanding of AD and improve my research skills, preparing me for the future.
